It’s the middle of winter, and I needed a reminder that Spring is around the corner so I visited Secret Location for a seasonal refresh. I immediately gravitate to anything with retro flair, so this paisley blouse by Holly Fulton jumped into sight. I paired it with Holly Fulton pink trousers that have a high-waist + wide leg. I had to include this metallic bomber by A.W.A.K.E. because it’s a show-stopper. Don’t forget the glasses! These Matthew Williamson sunnies are sending straight Elton John vibes, and I’m obsessed. Catch me wearing this outfit during winter, and all the way to spring.
And just like that…it’s 2017. Can’t deny it, this year has been good to me. Rich in love. Rich in life. Our biggest milestone this year was baby #2. Autumn was the finishing addition. Blessed with awesome opportunities with work. Went to the Grammy’s? Cover of Flare mag? What? Craziness. Checked Iceland off the bucket list. Bought/reno’d our ski condo!
Excited to see what 2017 has in store.
Wishing you love, joy, peace, and happiness!
I took a trip to Old Navy to get my little family holiday ready! When I think about holiday dressing, I immediately think deep colours, rich textures, and a bit of sparkle. I’m all about wine red, mustard yellow + navy blue this season, and I totally feel like these colours would suit everyone! I used those hues as a base to create colour-coordinating outfits for the clan and had fun with mixing textures+prints.
Here we are again in the season of ugly sweaters. If the idea is the more tacky and over top the sweater, the better, why not create a sweater that’s one of a kind? In this case, we’re talking about achieving perfect tinsel, sparkle, + Christmas embellishment placement.
I hit up my local Value Village to get my goods. I’m not a sewer. I don’t have the patience for it. And I didn’t want to wait for glue to dry (again, with the patience). So this ‘ugly sweater’ is the easiest thing to create, while fully living up to it’s name.
Give a warm welcome to the influx of red and green. But not gonna lie, It can get a bit much. Even though we can’t run away from it this season, we can purposely not incorporate it into our party outfits…and I’m down with that. I want to stand out, not blend in!
We just booked our tickets to Paris for next summer—so excited! It’ll be the first time we head over to Europe as a family of 4. And since it’s currently on the brain, let me hit you up with some Parisienne flair
This look is from Secret Location, and I always have a blast playing around in their highly curated store because every piece is inspiring and so gosh darn beautiful. The way that Noah feels walking around a candy store, is how exactly how I feel walking around Secret Location.
Created a tutorial on how I create my kinky waves with short hair! I wear this look all the time, and use a straightener to achieve the waves because it’s easier to curl with short locks.
Another Halloween is on it’s way, and I actually have a costume ready to go more than 24 hours from the 31st—success! I’ve partnered with Value Village to get Halloween ready, and this year I’m dressing as Sia!
Kilts immediately bring me back to my high school days, although that involved a much–MUCH–shorter skirt. And instead of denim under the kilt, I’d rep sweat-pants during the car ride to school ’cause short skirts during cold-ass months is another sort of hell. But I’d take the sweatpants off as soon as I got to school…because, me in sweatpants? No chance.
