We took a stroll at Finn Slough yesterday—a historic fishing village that’s composed of swampland, floating homes and dilapidated fishing boats. It feels like a place out of a movie or as if we took a trip back in time. That’s one of the reasons why I love blogging so much; I get to find awesome locations for shoots–ultimately exploring areas of town I wouldn’t seek otherwise.
In today’s look I’m combing feminine pieces with edgy/grunge bits. This Pin-up Darling jade dress has a gorgeous crochet and beaded bodice that I’ve worn off-shoulder (it can also be worn above-shoulder as a normal top). I love the tasselled rope that ties around the waist and the gorgeous jade/teal hue. The colour goes perfectly with deep magenta. I’ve paired the dress with edgy velvet combat boots and a pretty purple headwrap.
