En route to Salt Lake City, we took a few detours to find amazing photoshoot locations and hidden gems along the unbeaten path (and the beaten ones too). In this case, we couldn’t miss the chance to take a couple shots with this endearing historical gas station shaped as a teapot! Located in Zillah, Washington, the station was built and fully operational in 1922. It was eventually relocated to where I’m standing now, existing simply as a roadside attraction.
For our trip, I packed a few ‘looks’ for random shoots along the way. As soon as I saw the red & white details of the station, I knew which outfit to wear! I always need pattern, texture, and colour in my getup; animal print, houndstooth, faux fur, and red made an appearance. This shoot is one of my favourites to date!
